We love these. They almost perfectly mimic what was once called (sometimes accurately, sometimes euphemistically) "glamour photography" of the '40s and '50s. This looks like it could be on the cover of an old Photoplay issue. A highly appropriate way to go, considering the spring 2011 Dior collection had a "Bettie Page meets South Pacific" vibe going on.
Those shoes are so hideous they somehow manage to come back around to fabulous. If that makes any sense.Anyway, here's your pretty for the day. Discuss whether Lana Turner or Rita Hayworth could have rocked these looks.
