ALL THING // 100 thing yoou KNow This season

the charlie girl look
As a long term fan of the wide leg (yes, even secretly during the skinny-only era) I am so excited about stepping into the highest platforms and back into my flares. It is by far the most flattering cut out there, skinny on the thigh and kicked out at the ankle, it creates the perfect streamlined silhouette, which works just as well in the office as it does at the weekend. There is a danger of falling into dressing-up territory so I’ll be careful to keep it catwalk Chloé and not Abba. My style heroine for the season is Charlie Girl, star of those iconic perfume ads from the 70s, all swishy hair and go-getting attitude.

Effortless, luxe and laid-back, this leather mini is a far cry from the flashy body-con designs of the past. Team with relaxed tailoring and a slouchy knit to keep it chic
The great skirt debate
It’s a tricky length to work, but get it right and you’ll have summer’s hottest trend mastered. Team with heels and keep the rest of the outfit sleek and simple.

Maxi lengths are hot, hot, hot! Add a splash of eye-popping colour and they’re positively sizzling. With its sexy back slit and sleek silhouette, this Acne maxi ticks off more trends than we can count. Perfect

As balletic fashion takes centre stage, there’s no better time to have a spring fling with an A-line. Choose a pleated design with a floral print for ladylike chic - it’s the ultimate wardrobe stop-over on the way to summer

Trust Mulberry to pull a fashion rabbit out the (Tillie) bag. This paper-bag skirt has it all - a relaxed take on the pencil, its slouchy shape is perfect for a look of laid-back polish. And in this season’s chambray, it’s so right for now. Sorted
The Milan Plan
As Milan Fashion Week wraps we show you how to work the biggest trends this spring and what you should be planning for autumn.
The Milan Plan

It’s a 1980’s redux!
You’ll be joining in with
bold slogans, fluoro knits
and Bodymap-style dresses,
all topped off with heeled
trainers and D&G’s spirit of
luxe wearability.
Say hello to the Power Flower, spring’s boldest print. At D&G the collection embraced a garden of mimosa, roses and peonies on hand pleated skirts and pretty sundresses. Afraid of full-on florals? Dip your toe in the trend with these printed heels.
The Milan Plan
From electric colour blocking to sleek wardrobe classics, Sportmax is the go-to brand for summer-in-the-city styling. Think smart and chic with timeless black tailoring or set sartorial pulses racing with the effortless shirt dress and neon belt combo, all in mouth-watering pink.
Seventies styling isn’t going anywhere. For autumn, you’ll be investing in Sportmax’s slouchy tailoring in soft brown tones for a grown up take on the trend
The Milan Plan
Pick your style city as Moschino Cheap & Chic took a tour of the fashion capitals. London’s phone box red tartan and Milan’s chic camel and gold are the looks which made an impact.
Colourful, vibrant and flirty, the new collection from Moschino’s younger sister is made for fun in the sun - even the models winked their way down the catwalk! Fruit prints made a delicious appearance - quench your fashion thirst with this zingy lemon print dress
