Not bad for a 45-year-old mother branded too old for Radio 1: Jo Whiley shows off her enviable figure

She is the latest BBC star to be replaced by someone younger.
But clearly Jo Whiley is not prepared to be overshadowed by her junior counterparts.
The 45-year-old Radio 1 DJ, who will switch to Radio 2 in April, showed off a  figure that would be the envy women half her age.

Miss Whiley may have lost her Radio 1 job to a junior counterpart, but she has lost none of her youthful glamour

The mother of four, wearing a short black dress and high heels, revealed her toned legs and slim physique at  the NME Awards in London on Wednesday night, where she partied until the early hours.
Miss Whiley has been at Radio 1 for 17 years. In 2009 she was replaced on her weekday show by Fearne Cotton, then 27.
She then moved to weekends, but that slot will now be taken by Huw Stevens, 29, with Miss Whiley joining Radio 2 to present an evening show.
She has four daughters with her music executive husband Steve Morton -  16-year-old India, Jude, nine, Cassius, seven and two-year-old Coco.
