Lee Min Jung promotes the Make-A-Wish Foundation

Actress Lee Min Jung has been appointed as the spokesperson for Korea’s Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation helps children with life-threatening diseases by granting their wishes and thereby giving them a sense of hope, courage, and joy.
Lee Min Jung first heard of this foundation through it’s sponsorship chairman Kang Suk Woo. Last March, she served as a volunteer worker and raised about 10,000,000 won (about $8,300) which went to funding four children’s wish grantings.
Lee Min Jung stated,
“Through the Make-A-Wish Foundation, I have been able to sympathize for the children who are fighting against diseases… From now on, I will try my best to publicize this foundation, which gives hope and joy to children with life-threatening diseases.”
Her first agenda upon being named the spokesperson was to participate in a photo shoot with 3 children who have had their wishes granted. Upon completing the photo shoot Lee Min Jung made pinky-promises with each of the children saying,
Dreams are very precious and lovely. Don’t lose hope in the future and make sure to achieve your dreams.”
