Cheryl Cole will receive her complete £1.2million

Cheryl Cole will receive her complete £1.2million US X Factor fee – despite being fired after just four days work.
The star – who was dramatically axed earlier this week – will be given her full fee for the series despite working for just four days of auditions, a senior X Factor source revealed.
That means she will receive £300,000 a day for her ill-fated US adventure.

An insider admitted: ‘Cheryl would expect the full £1.2million payment as a pay-off – despite her leaving the show so abruptly.’
Meanwhile, a close friend of Cowell has spoken to the Daily Mail and revealed he was ‘gutted’ at her axing – and ‘feels terribly bad’ about the shock sacking.
The friend revealed: ‘Simon is gutted for Cheryl. He fought to get her on there.
‘It took him months to get her on the show in the first place and he feels terribly bad that it didn’t work.’
The friend went on: ‘He understands that she is upset. But Simon can’t make it work. He did everything he could. He fought to keep her on the show.’
‘But ultimately it is the TV network that decides. And they just didn’t think it was working.’
Long-serving UK X Factor judge Louis Walsh, meanwhile, last night added that he was ‘sorry’ it did not work out for her in the US.
However, he added to the Mail he would ‘love’ her to return to the programme.

‘I feel sorry for her you know, but that’s showbusiness,’ he said. He then issued a remarkable plea for her to return to the UK show.
He said: ‘The public would love her to do it. The public love her.
‘She is brilliant on the show, she is great fun, she ticks every single box. I want her back, please come back Cheryl.’
‘She will pick herself up and she will dust herself down and she will just get on with it and the public love her.
‘She will be star of the show, absolutely. It would be the perfect result [her coming back].’
Auditions for the UK version are due to begin next week but Cheryl has said she wants twice her usual £1m fee if she returns, especially after her hasty exit from the American show.
'It is humiliating for Cheryl,' a source told The Sun, 'she believes she should be handsomely compensated for it.'
Walsh said, as far as he was concerned, only he and Take That singer Gary Barlow were definitely signed-up.
Meanwhile, more details of the ending of Mrs Cole’s US nightmare have emerged.
A source close to Cowell also told how Mrs Cole suffered during the early

days of filming of the programme.
The source revealed: ‘You’ve got pretty experienced characters there. You’ve got big characters and Paula has a massive history with Simon.
‘He also wanted Paula on the show – and the chemistry between them was amazing.  That hurt Cheryl.
‘It wasn’t that Cheryl was bad – but she was nervous. Fox didn’t get what they expected with her.
‘Simon had convinced them how incredible she was – and yet when she came over she was just so nervous.’
Network executives – who had warned Cowell from the off that Mrs Cole was on an informal probation because of her lack of status in the US -  raised further concerns over Mrs Cole’s performance last week. She was then formally told she was being axed on Tuesday.
The Mail told yesterday how Mrs Cole is ‘furious’ with Cowell and the X Factor bosses at being axed from the show.  She feels ‘humiliated and let down,’ by them.
She is even ready to snub their attempts to offer her the ‘olive branch’ of a return to the British X Factor.
However, last night, ITV bosses remained hopeful they will be able to persuade Mrs Cole to sign up for the British version of the X Factor.
It is understood the lines of communication are still open and that even though auditions for the show begin next week and eleventh hour deal could still be done.
However, one source said the British judging panel had already been – all but – decided.
Amongst those due to be joining the judging panel as well as Walsh and Barlow are US pop star Kelly Rowland and Tulisa Contostavlos from pop band N-Dubz.
However, the Daily Mail has learned that Miss Contostavlos contract had still not been rubber-stamped by X Factor bosses yesterday.

A source revealed: ‘The contract went over on Monday and everybody thought it would be signed off pretty quickly.
‘But there seems to have been a hold up. Tulisa’s camp are starting to get pretty worried.’
Meanwhile, Mrs Cole’s rival US judge Paula Abdul says her reunion with Simon Cowell on his new talent show is ‘still in the honeymoon phase.’
The ‘lack of chemistry’ between Mrs Cole and Miss Abdul was cited as one of the reasons for the Girls Aloud singer’s exit.
Miss Abdul – showing little sign of sadness for her former colleague – told reporters on a trip to Singapore to promote a theme park  that The US X Factor ‘ginormous.’
Abdul said she and Cowell have ‘a wonderful, exquisite, challenging and frightening relationship.’

A TV insider claimed the decision to axe Miss Cole was made last weekend.
It was said during the first auditions she ‘could not get a word in edgewise’ with Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul dominating - and when she did speak some contestants ‘couldn’t understand her.’
There is also said to have been on-going tension from day one on the show between Miss Cole and Miss Abdul over who would sit next to Cowell, described as ‘a seat war,’ by the insider.
On Daybreak yesterday [fri], Cowell’s former girlfriend and close friend Sinitta, admitted show bosses in crisis talks following her exit.
She said: ‘There is something going on. All I can say is Simon and Cheryl are very close and I believe they are in talks to try and sort something out. As soon as they agree on something then we will hear about it.
‘They are having private conversations. Simon really, really wanted Cheryl on the American show. He really fought to have her there.’
‘They are talking and they are working on something that they will agree on. Simon was 100 per cent behind Cheryl and I am sure that very, very soon, maybe today, we will find out what that decision will be.’

The Geordie star is worried sick as her brother's addictions get worse.

Life has not been fair to Cheryl Cole in the last year, with her love life up and down, Malaria to fight off, and now it has been revealed that her brother’s addiction to drink and drugs has been getting worse.

Cheryl was in Venice last week for a private gig, and was pictured looking puffy and tired. She took her brother on the trip with her for support, but also to try and help him move on with his addictions.

Her brother, Garry, has a police record of over 50 arrests and those close to Cheryl have said she is terribly worried that her brother’s situation is not getting any better.

“He’s been ill lately and he has been told to give up drinking because his liver could fail,” a family friend said. “If he doesn’t stop he will die.”

This is just another setback for the Geordie who is still hoping to be a part of Simon Cowell’s US X Factor show.

Cheryl Cole finds God

(Seek4Media.com) --  Cheryl Cole has reportedly turned to religion after a traumatic year.
The 27-year-old singer is looking for spiritual enlightenment after suffering a tumultuous 2010 which saw her divorce her husband Ashley Cole after he cheated on her and overcome malaria and is investigating different faiths.

A source said: "Cheryl has awakened her spiritual side. She has been tapping into higher powers for answers and guidance. She's been doing some deep thinking - especially after malaria. Christianity is closest to her, but she's open to other religious influences."

Cheryl's mother Joan Callaghan is a regular churchgoer while the star's close friend, Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am, is deeply religious after being raised a Baptist in California.

The Girls Aloud star could also be seeking spiritual enlightenment from her rumoured love interest Derek Hough, who is a practising Mormon.

The 'Parachute' singer was spotted wearing a Hindu charm to the rehearsals of UK pop star search show 'The X Factor', on which she is a judge with Simon Cowell, last weekend.

Cheryl Cole will always 'love' Ashley

(Seek4Media.com) --  Cheryl Cole will "always love" her ex-husband Ashley Cole.
The 'Promise This' singer - who divorced the England and Chelsea soccer player in September 2010 following allegations he had cheated on her several times - still thinks the pair are "meant for each other" despite their split, and admitted Ashley is still a "big part" of her life.

She explained: "I will always love him, always. He's a big part of my life. I don't think he ever wanted to let it go. We had a great relationship. He was my best friend.

"For me, it's not my past, it's very much my present. We were meant for each other."

The 27-year-old pop star had 'Mrs C' tattooed on her neck after the pair tied the knot in July 2006 and she has revealed she has no intention of getting the body art removed because she is "not ashamed" of her relationship with Ashley.

Cheryl told heat magazine: "I get a tattoo when things happen in my life that mean something. I'm not ashamed of anything. I've got nothing to rub away."

However, the brunette beauty admitted she has stopped listening to other people's advice about her life because she feels she has taken a lot of criticism for her personal decisions.

She added: "I have taken so much s**t. I've stopped listening to other people. I have had enough. I can't be under any more pressure than I've already been under."

Derek Hough Will Fight For Cheryl Cole's Love

Reports over the last few weeks have suggested that Cheryl Cole is not ready to move in with her rumoured boyfriend, Derek Hough in Los Angeles.
With Cheryl's position on the judging panel of the US X Factor in jeopardy, the singer is renting a mansion in London instead.

All this comes after the Promise This star reportedly met up for a secret meeting with her ex-husband, Ashley Cole.

However, the Daily Star has claimed that Derek is not ready to let Cheryl slip through his fingers and is prepared to fight for her.

A source said: "Derek has said he will happily punch Ashley's lights out if Cheryl asks him to. He's just sick of it all. She's his girlfriend and has been for a while.

"Derek has been nothing but respectful about what Cheryl and Ashley had but enough is enough. She told him that there was nothing going on between her and Ashley and that talk of a reconciliation was utter nonsense."

They continued: "But Cheryl also added that she feels bad if she ignores Ashley and still has a sense that she should be there for him. Now Derek has had enough of being Mr Nice Guy. He told me, 'I'll fight for Cheryl'.

"Derek's a lot more dominant than you'd imagine," they added. "As he said to me, 'What guy sits back and lets another man put moves on his girlfriend?'. Ashley is the ex now, and this is a new year and a new Derek.

"He was raised a Mormon, so violence isn't Derek's thing and he isn't likely to behave like a thug, but he will stand his ground."

Friends Concerned For Cheryl Cole's Health

Reports have suggested that friends are concerned over Cheryl Cole's health after she almost pulled out of a recent appearance in Venice.

We noticed that Cheryl looked glum when she was pictured arriving in the city and her mood didn't seem much improved on departure.

The Mirror has reported that Cheryl almost pulled out of her appearance last Friday night where she was due to perform at a private function for car manufacturer Audi.

The paper claims that her confidante, Hilary Shaw was overheard saying: "It's been a terrible week. She’s cancelling everything. She doesn’t want to do it - she doesn't want to do anything.

"I'm really worried about the repercussions."

Do you think Cheryl should take some time out after a hectic 2010?

Cheryl Cole Shows Off Her New Back Tattoo (Photos & Video)

Cheryl Cole
Last night we spotted British singer Cheryl Cole attending the National Television Awards in London wearing a revealing black dress that showed off her back tattoo.

Her little black Gucci dress had a touch of Liz Hurley's safety pin dress about it. Her sexy backless dress was just low enough to give us a glimpse of her latest artwork - a vine-like tattoo on her lower back.  She also revealed a touch of side cleavage.

What do you think of Cheryl's dress and tattoo?

Romance Between Cheryl Cole and Footballer Ashley Cole Still Exist?

According to the source, it is anticipated that The X Factor judge and Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole still has feelings for her former footballer husband and Chelsea player Ashley Cole.
Although the relationship between Cheryl Cole and Derek Hough is about to form a serious one, according to Heat magazine Cheryl had contacts with Ashley during her trips to Australia by texting him throughout the holiday.
Cheryl once expressed her feeling to Ashley by saying that she will never love seriously anybody apart from Ashley. Probably this could be the reason why the relationship between Cheryl and Derek is progressing very slowly. Now magazine also reported a rumoured Christmas gift of a beautiful bracelet for Cheryl Cole worth £10,000 given by Ashley Cole this year. Cheryl also received a beautiful commitment ring from Derek Hough which she was wearing during the holiday in South Africa.

Cheryl Cole Praised by TV Executive in US

It seems Cheryl Cole has succeeded in giving a great impression to Fox executive in the US of her judging skills — among her multitude of talents — as she has been described by them as a terrific judge.

It is widely known — or speculated — that Cheryl is to join Simon Cowell in the judging panel of the upcoming US version of the X Factor. However, the folks who run the show, which is on schedule to launch later in the year, have not confirmed or deny it.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, the chairman of the network praised Cheryl Cole for her excellent work in the British X Factor. He also said that Cheryl and Simon have a great chemistry.
Another thing that is certain, Simon adores Cheryl as they are becoming quite the good friends. But ultimately, the decision may not lies solely on his fondness toward Cheryl. The network executive would want to ensure that the judge can be well received by the US audience, which — of course — have different taste than their British counterpart.

Michael Jackson and Cheryl Cole – The Duet That Never Was

Black Eyed Peas’ frontman Will.I.Am has a lot of nice things to say about Cheryl Cole it seems. Being the producer of Cheryl’s last two successful albums, this shouldn’t be too surprising. This time, the hitmaker reveals that the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, had wanted to work with the Geordie singer before his untimely death in June 2009.

According to Will.I.Am, whose real name is William J. Adams, Michael Jackson was eyeing the prospect of collaborating with Cheryl Cole — after receiving recommendations from William. The music producer told MJ that Cheryl Cole was, at that time, the hottest singer in the UK, and how she could dance and sing. He said that MJ would’ve worked with Cheryl — if it hadn’t been for his passing.
Guess we’d never be able to hear the amazing duet — between Cheryl Cole and Michael Jackson — that never was.
