I finally am able to write you without running like in the past days :) I have a lot of outfits and photos of the last days to show you, starting with these ones shot last Saturday, first day of the Milan men fashionweek. Since I had an important exam on Monday morning I wasn't able to attend all the fashionshows I was invited to, but I hope you'll understand how hard it has been to say no in this case... Most of the time I put my work and blog before anything else but in the exam period I really have to understand which are the events I really can't miss, otherwise the risk is not to give exams at all or to only give a few of them (and I really can't wait to graduate).
On Saturday I attended two fashionshows: Frankie Morello and Burberry. The first one was Frankie Morello: classic accessories combined with sporty pieces, the man is a fashion biker to the designers, who dares with colours and patterns. I fell in love with the extreme use of different tonalities, that I found only in other few collections for next spring/summer season.
Burberry was way more classic in the colours: the most used ones were sand, cream, brown and olive green. What caught my eye more than anything else were the patterns in some trousers and especially in some sweaters: triangles, squares became tridimensional facings.
My outfit of the day was really simple and created only by a few pieces: a white dress, the feather shoes I designed, some bangles and the Yves Saint Laurent Mombasa bag, that I haven't used for a too long time.
Which are the items that you enjoyed the most about these fashionshows?
Finalmente riesco a scrivervi senza dover correre come negli ultimi giorni :) Ho un sacco di outfit e foto dei giorni scorsi da mostrarvi, cominciando da queste che sono state scattate sabato scorso, primo giorno della settimana della moda uomo a Milano. Avendo un esame importante lunedi mattina non sono riuscita ad assistere a tutte le sfilate a cui ero stata invitata, ma spero capirete anche voi quanto sia stato duro dire di no in questo caso.. Spesso metto il lavoro ed il blog prima di tutto ma in periodo esami devo veramente capire quali sono gli eventi importanti ed imperdibili, altrimenti rischio di non dare esami o darne troppo pochi (ed io non vedo veramente l'ora di laurearmi).
Detto questo sabato sono stata a due sfilate, Frankie Morello e Burberry. Il primo fashionshow era quello di Frankie Morello: pezzi più classici abbinati a capi prettamente sportivi, l'uomo è secondo gli stilisti un biker alla moda, che osa con colore e tessuti. Mi sono innamorata dell'uso estremo delle tonalità, che ho ritrovato in poche altre collezioni per la prossima primavera/estate.
Burberry è stato invece molto più classico nei colori: prevalenti le tonalità sabbia, crema, marrone e verde scuro. Ciò che sicuramente mi ha più colpita sono state le fantasie in alcuni pantaloni e soprattutto nei maglioni: giochi di triangoli, quadrati e rombi che diventano applicazioni tridimensionali :D
Il mio look era molto semplice e creato da pochi capi: un vestito bianco, le scarpe con le piume che ho disegnato, alcuni bracciali e la Mombasa di Yves Saint Laurent, che non indossavo da troppo tempo.
