NEW IN "JACKETS"

As I was on my way to buy fabric for new DIY's, I spotted this A.M.A.Z.I.N.G turquoise vintage leather jacket hanging outside a vintage shop and I literally RAN Forrest Gump style across the street (Picture me wearing 12cm heels as I do this, God forbids someone gets there 5 seconds before and buys it before me).
I tried it on just so I could justify buying it, although deep within me I knew I would as soon as I spotted it across the road.
Now the million dollar question is; How do i get that horrid vintage smell off it? You obviously cant wash leather and the dry cleaner across the road said he cant either...Do you have any suggestions?

The second jacket is my latest ACNE purchase. I went to the acne shop and I sinned again, it almost seems impossible not to.

RUN IT SIMPLE

This is how I looked last day, in a jumpsuit from stylesofia, bag from Lindex & the jeffreycampbell boots! I like to run it easy sometimes, especially when small details like the holes on the shoulders lift up the whole garment. The day is spent on my practice, and then I’ll watch the new Pirates of the Caribbean. Hope you have a wonderful Thursday friends!

delicious lobster roll: Red Hook Lobster Pound

The weather was dreadful yesterday. I'm usually a fan of rainy days, but I think it's because I grew up in Florida thinking that a rainy day was either a sunny day with welcome, sporadic showers or a straight up hurricane. Hurricanes are awful - I've lived through some doozies - but when I was little, I enjoyed the days off of school, the camp-life living, hurricane parties and playing in the fallen trees. New York rainy days are just cold, dark and very wet.

Since we couldn't take Miku for her playtime at the dog park, we headed to Red Hook to eat lobster rolls and chowder. Bobby had a shrimp roll, because he doesn't know what life is, but he'll figure it out sooner or later. If you haven't had a lobster roll from the pound, let it be known that they are really good and reasonably priced. Perhaps it's because I'm accustomed to the Brooklyn Fish Camp $35 price tag for a tiny roll, but at $15 with chips and a pickle, Red Hook's prices are alright by me.

After our delicious meal, we headed back to the apartment so that I could hide my wretchedly frizzy hair under a hat, then headed to a Gucci cocktail party and preview at Cipriani. As glamorous as that sounds, I fell while walking down their stairs. Hands and knees, bam. Karen was a witness. The end.

De retour à Paris demain pour vous révéler encore plus de beautés naturelles

Black is beautiful my friends ! Tomorrow, I’m back in Paris to reveal more natural beauties.  Thats the magic of Style and the City’s humanist street style !

Getting all enchanted forest doesn't have to be part of blogging I suppose but sometimes it just seems right? Even though I know it's wrong. I'll blame the weather skipping forward to summer in a very immediate way a few days ago.

The past couple weeks I feel like I've been trying to realign..new yoga studio, catching up with a few of my oldest friends, watching documentaries instead of old seasons of 30 Rock, running a couple miles a day with Colin, upping my kale and oolong tea intake about a thousand percent, tackling trying to make the most out of a seemingly hopeless closet situation, getting started on a couple very different new projects, spoiling Kumo, making some selective Nars and Kiehl's purchases, and generally enjoying staying in one place. Being aware that I still have a million things I should be doing at all times only almost ruins it. Life is good when it's 80 degrees at sunset in LA..
