Up in the Clouds, Down on the Ground.

Beautiful clouds in the sky... I don't see much of the sky these days, or at least I forget to stop and look up. I have been so busy these past few months but isn't that how life is when you start growing up.

My beloved Sigerson Morrison has been sold and are now closing their stores. Bought five pairs of shoes to numb the sadness. These wooden wedges are so cool, I cant think of them not making shoes anymore.

Got a quick pick me up outfit at Urban. Digging the light denim with the bold colors of the shoes. Bought this neat turquoise ring from Knotts Scary farm of all places... leave it to me to find something anywhere. Its an authentic Zuni tribe native American piece that I fell in love with. Belt is vintage, bag Proenza PS1.

CASUAL Just discovered a new beauty trick : mixing foundation with lipsitck to make it lighter and less shiny. Here you can see me wear ''Vegas Volt'' that amazing m.a.c's orange I already spoke to you about hundreds of times. With a bit of foundation it really looks like a light peach shade, with no shimmer and a really natural texture. I love it, what a great discovery. A lot of you asked me for some beauty tutorials : I will of course make a few once I am back from Zermatt. Just some basic daily make-up tips because I am not a real make-up genious, I have my own daily routine that I manage well but except of that I haven't the right hand.


For this outfit I decided to go casual, even though I wear some heels : they are so comfortable. I made a funny combination, a nude dress with a large over-sized H&M gray shirt because it was pretty cold. I think it turns out pretty well, the superpositions always look very interesting to me.

W niedziele(25.06) wraz z min paroma innymi bloggerkami (bloo, fashionelka, charlize) miałam okazję poznać i zadać kilka pytan supermodelce Kasi Struss. Wszystko odbyło się za sprawą Lexus Fashion Night w ktorym to Kasia zasiada w roli jednego z jurorów.

Jaka jest? Zero gwiazdorstwa, usmiech, sympatyczne usposobienie, ladniejsza niz na wielu swoich zdjęciach, piekna cera i błysk w oku! Zdrowo wygladajaca mimo niezwykłej szczupłosci blond modelka w dalszej przyszłosci planuje otworzyc restauracje. Wracajac do mody Kasia prywatnie nosi buty tylko od Marni :) To naprawde nieliczne z rzeczy jakichie zaobserwowalam i dowiedzialam sie o rodaczce zajmującej 17 pozycję w rankingu francuskiego Vogue’a do top 30 modelek dekady! Jako fanatyczka i koneserka kobiecego piekna moglabym przygladac się jej znacznie dluzej niz ponad godz.
Dziś dodaję kilka zdjeć z pobytu w stolicy oraz dwa wyszukane filmiki z bohaterka wywiadu.

Efekt spotkania, pytania zadawane w trakcie wywiadu bedzie mozna zobaczyc niebawem na blogach. Pozdrawiam! Jltt

My second try wearing the Lopsided Lapel Blazer from BATTEN. It's a bit more formal than before.

Paired it with my fave long loose top that I've worn thousand times from Cotton On and shoes from Charles and Keith.

FASHION DANCE // Surprise Guest

 

There is someone I'd like you all to meet. I have been trying to get him on
here for ages so without further adieu, meet Ryan. If you haven't guessed it,
this is the boyfriend that I frequently speak of. He enjoys playing video games,
guitar, and whistling (as pictured above). A bit camera shy, he oh so
sweetly agreed to do this post before I leave for Philly. Plus he just got these
Ray-Bans and I think he was just a bit excited to show them off. He looks
pretty adorable if you ask me! As for my outfit, I wanted to wear something
light and flowy so I through on this billowy blouse and loose pleated skirt.
I have been working in these platforms and I just love 'em!
We went off to get sushi, one of our favorites, after taking these photos. Hegot the rainbow, and I got the wasabi crunch. Yummm making me hungry just
thinking about it!
Well I hope you all are having a great week! In less than a week, I will be in Philly.

FASHION DANCE // A Million Roses

 

One of my favorite things about my neighborhood, is the beautiful
gardens that grace everyone's homes. I had been drawn to these roses
for several days and finally had the chance to photograph them the other day.
Anyways, on to the dress. This dress is VERY special to me. It was given as a
going away gift from my dear friend/owner of that vintage boutique I showed
you all the other day. The colors are just perfect for a breezy day, and the
length and bodice. is definitely what one me over. I can see myself prancing
in it all around the city this summer! It even matched the roses behind me (not
on purpose.)
