SUNSET SILHOUSETTES

This might not be my typical "Look of the day" post, but as I was enjoying from my last sunset in Santorini yesterday, we managed to snap these pics as the sun was going down.
I think that the colors of the sky were incredible and although it might be hard to believe, nothing about this photos has been edited, I posted them exactly as they were taken, isn't the effect awesome?

Hej bloggen! Flygresan hem från Cypern gick bra och trots det regniga vädret så var jag glad över att vara hemma igen. Min pojkvän stod och väntade på mig med en bukett blommor, det var fyra timmar sedan och vi har fortfarande inte släppt varandra, haha. Vi är som två plåster på varandra nu, vi har saknat varandra så jäkla mycket!

Vi kommer tillbringa kvällen här hemma med massa god mat & film. Vill bara ligga i hans famn hela kvällen… ♥

BREAT CHILDHOOD

This morning, I opened my email to find that my sister had sent me a large compilation of childhood pictures set to disco music. Disco, you ask?

We should all know by now that disco is always appropriate no matter what the occasion. 

So anyway, I watched it. And laughed a lot. But soon recognized a common theme:

a style blogger in the making.
You've GOT to be kidding me, right?

Wrong. I am not kidding.

I have always been fascinated with anything and everything having to do with France. From learning the language all four years of high school to learning how to make crepes myself. And now, staying glued to all of the news from the Paris runways. It's no wonder I am so taken by Isabel Marant's creations season after season. This outfit was clearly inspired by Marant's monopoly on nubby knits, pink shorts and ankle boots from S/S 11. Now, if only I could meet the woman in person to share my praises!



PS. The Royal Wedding was indeed a marvelous event. Of course, I teared up. I still love Cinderella today, for it's magic and romance. And this wedding was indeed magical, the way Kate couldn't stop beaming at everyone and how Prince William would share sidelong glances with his new wife mid ceremony, kept me twinkling as well. The dress designed by Sarah Burton, creative designer for Alexander McQueen, was beyond a dream. I only wish Princess Diana could have been there to see her son and new daughter-in-law start a new life together...

CHICMUSE // Jan. 8: Kill it with kisses

Work is so hectic right now! I'm used to my 24h weeks, which usually means I do 2 full days and 2 half days, but so far I've only had one day off this week, and I'll be working tomorrow as well! Though I'm not complaining, yesterday was a total pain (a co-worker pointed out to me that I looked like I was about to drool on the t-shirt I was folding in sleep mode) but today I just couldn't wipe the retarded smile off my face and I basically skipped and danced my way through work all day.

Oh well. On to the good stuff now!

So I told you guys I'd be updating with some pics that got stuck on my camera after a battery crash (in case you're thinking I'm a total dumbass right now: No I don't own an SD card reader haha) so here they are!

I used to wear these on a daily basis, and then I got kinda tired of it, but then I watched the second season of Dexter and basically fell in love with the idea of layering jewelry all over again due to Lila, I could punch her in the face for her annoying accent (I hate how she always puts emphasis on the last syllable of a word, FFS IT'S NOT DEXTAAAAAAAAAH IT'S JUST DEXTER. PERIOD.) but the clothes she wears are quite awesome.

Then this slip dress, probably the sexiest thing I own. I'm really not one to dress sexy, although at work I'm known to expose my bra a lot hahaha. I don't yet know how to wear it, IF I will wear it, but it was just too pretty and too cheap to let go of. 

In other news, my nose piercing is still infected and it looks like it's about to give birth to an alien baby. Thankfully, it doesn't hurt!

I'm going to stop writing now because all I can think of is how badly I want to jump around, laughing like a retard because I'm so randomly happy. FUCK YES.

Glassons top, Topshop leather skirt, bag via eBay, ASOS heels

I've searched high and low for a leather skirt like this since forever basically. The PUs versions I found at chain store never did quite cut it, and I could only ever dream of affording the designer ones showcased on the likes of high-end boutiques and online department stores. Hence I was absolutely stoked to find this Topshop one that didn't break the bank, and yet didn't compromise on quality either. The leather is super soft, and the cut & details just simply perfect. Definitely something I will be hanging onto for a long time.
