I was a virgin to camping festivals, and was a bit nervous about camping, but it was so fine, there were showers and proper toilets (that actually flushed)!
the festival on the whole was so amazing, i couldnt even tell you what my highlights were!
- one morning we did this workshop with Mr Percival, it was so beautiful, free and fun.
it was a singing workshop where we started off my just humming different sounds which then turned into words;
May all your dreams come true;
Come sing with us today.
it was just such a great fresh way to start our last day at splendour. at first everyone was a bit stand off and nervous about singing, but everyone loosened up.
Florence and the Machine stole my heart!
She was so amazing it was incredible to see her perform, with just one outfit a flowing white cape and no shoes. It was so fun jumping around being so carefree. it was so amazing to see the amount of people that were in the one arena. PHENOMENAL!
the stocks were amazing, temper trap, tame impala, grizzly bear, hot chip, empire of the sun, kate Nash, there was just way too much GREAT music involved, and it sucked when people over lapped!
<3 |
surprisingly it wasnt cold, i know that everyone packed for cold cold weather, but it was delicious! beaming sun, just at night you would need a light jacket! =)
i had a beautiful time with beautiful people! learnt alot about music, and had the best weekend. take me back...
=)
